Lauren Mrkobrada, DVM

When Dr. Lauren graduated from OVC in 2005, she soon realized two important facts that she wasn't taught in school. First, most Labrador Retrievers are as energetic as a caffeine-fueled toddler. Second, cats tolerate you only when you are doing exactly what they want. These truths help keep her professional life interesting.

Dr. Lauren shares her house with her husband who enjoys playing innertube water polo, and six pets--three little boys who are always on the move, and three lovely domestic shorthairs named Libby, Gonzo, and Dora. When not at work or stepping on Lego pieces at home, Dr. Lauren likes to garden, canoe, paint, and cook.
