Sydney Doucette, DVM

Dr. Sydney grew up in London, Ontario, and developed a love for animals from a young age. Her interest in veterinary medicine began in high school, when she completed a co-op at a local veterinary clinic. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Western University in 2022, where her courses in human medical sciences sparked an interest in biomedical research and comparative medicine.  

Sydney recently graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with her DVM degree in the spring of 2026. During veterinary school, she pursued her interest in emergency medicine through shifts at an emergency hospital and as a leader of OVC’s Emergency and Critical Care Club. She also developed a passion for wildlife and community medicine through her Global Vets experience in South Africa.

Outside of the clinic, Sydney enjoys spending time with her partner, her dog Toby, and their four fish. She loves photography, hiking, being outdoors, and playing soccer.
